Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book my maternity session ?

Maternity sessions are best booked between 28–36 weeks of pregnancy, when your bump is beautifully visible and you’re still comfortable.

To secure your preferred date, it’s a good idea to book your session in advance, especially if you’d like a weekend or evening appointment. Booking early ensures your spot and gives plenty of time to plan outfits, props, and any special ideas you have for your session.

How much does it cost?

To secure your session, a £35 booking deposit is required. This will be deducted from any orders you place at your viewing appointment, or refunded if you choose not to order.

The deposit is there to secure the appointment as yours and also stop the no-shows happening for us. It’s fully refundable or can go toward additional purchases, should you wish to make them.

When should I book my newborn session ?

Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy (after you had your 20 weeks scan) to ensure availability. The newborn photoshoot usually takes place within the first 2 weeks after birth.  When booking a space choose a provisional date one week after a due date and once baby arrives let me know asap.

Is there any obligations to buy photos?

There is absolutely no obligation to purchase any images after your session.

Your complimentary session includes a 30-minute photoshoot and one 8×6 print (or digital upgrade if applicable). After your session, you’ll be invited back to the studio for a private viewing appointment where you can see your photographs and choose your favourite image.

Many families fall in love with their images and decide to purchase additional photographs, often creating beautiful wall art to display in their homes or gifting prints to family members.

What if I need to reschedule my session ?

If you need to change your appointment, please let me know at least 72 hours in advance and I will do my best to arrange a new date for you. If less than 72 hours’ notice is given, the £35 booking deposit cannot be refunded.
